Place 40g oats into a saucepan.
Add 220ml of cold milk, water, or a mixture of both. Stir well. Bring to the boil. Cook over a moderate heat. Stir continuously.; Microwave - From Ambient. 750W 4 mins, 30 secs
900W 4 mins
Cook on high (100%). Place 40g oats into a large microwaveable bowl. Add 220ml of cold milk, water, or a mixture of both. Stir well at start, halfway through and at end of cooking. Allow to stand for 2 mins.
Adjust quantities and times accordingly.
